Support For The Edwards Family

Donation protected
On Saturday Feb 11th, 2017 a parents worst nightmare came true - the loss of a child.

No parent should survive their child!!

However, God saw fit to call the Edwards' eldest daughter Keely Home. What makes it even more difficult to understand and deal with is that she was only 19 yrs old.

God always has a plan and the Edwards' strongly believe this. You just wish you knew what it was sometimes.

WHAT HAPPENED:

It is believed that Keely left home on the morning of Wednesday February 8th for a nature walk around the property they live in Mount Albert.  This is something she liked to do. She didn't have her cellphone and never returned home.  York Regional Police were contacted and a search ensued.

On Saturday February 11th, one of the 47 York Regional Police Officers searching for Keely spotted an article of clothing sticking out  from underneath the snow. It was shortly after and nearby that Keely's lifeless body was found in a very heavily wooded area of the property.

Family and Friends are devastated. There are no words at a time like this. But, we are hoping that by setting up a GOFUNDME we can show our support for the Edwards'.  We hope to receive enough donations that can assist with costs associated with Keely's Funeral and helping other family members travel from New Brunswick to say goodbye.

The Edwards are awesome people and are very loved in their community.  They were previous members of Cedarview Community Church and currently call Hope For Today Fellowship in Keswick their church home. Their passon has always been to serve God and help others.

Keely is survived by her mother Malee, father Derek, younger sisters Shea and Ara and brothers Morgan and Jadon.  And was loved by many many more.

"Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the LORD your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you"
- Deuteronomy 31:6

No donation is too small and we know to be given in love. Thanking you in advance, and asking for your continued prayers for the family.

FEEL FREE TO SEND AN EMAIL TRANSFER TO [email redacted] and I can add as Offline Donation received. Email me any comments you might like to add for the Edwards to read.

MEMO RE: WITHDRAWAL OF DONATIONS
As the Edwards' do not need the added concern, it has been decided (and GoFundMe has been notified) by Malee Edwards that she would like Trissy White to make the withdrawal from the GoFundMe donations. Trissy will help manage the financial responsibilities associated with this tragedy. Trissy White has made contact with the funeral home chosen by the Edwards and will be using the funds from the GoFundMe to cover the costs of Keely's Funeral direct to the funeral home. Any funds in excess of the funeral costs will be used to assist with Trissy booking tickets for Malee's family to travel from New Brunswick to Ontario for the funeral. Any excess of that will be e-transferred directly to Malee Edwards with receipt for all transactions. Thank you all again for your much needed and appreciated donations.
