JASON’S BIG HEART “Heart Surgery”

What better gift to give than to help in giving the gift of life? Urgent heart related need, surgery must be done in order to live. An individual that never expects anything but gives everything!!  Jason Miller is one of those guys everyone should know and have as a friend. He and his wife Jodi have a large lovely family with children consisting of 3 young ladies and 4 young men.  They live in Twin City, and their children attend ECI.  He is the most unselfish and given guy that we have met. Never asking for anything in return and always lending a helping hand. Jason is one of our employees and a dear friend. He absolutely never misses a day of work, unless he goes to the heart doctor. He works hard, and works when he physically isn’t able. Jason is one of the best employees we have had in our company of 25 years.  Loyal, dependable, honest, all those wonderful characteristics lacking this day and time. He has worked to support his family and put his wife Jodi through school.  Jodi has just obtained her cosmetology license and began working at Beauty Works in Swainsboro within the last week as a cosmetologist. Jason has previously had 2 open heart surgeries. One to replace his mitral valve with a mechanical valve and one to replace his aortic valve with a cadaver valve.  Now, his aortic valve has worn and he has to have a mechanical replacement. This should be the last surgery he has to have, as the mechanical valve will be a permanent fix and will require no further surgeries. However, this is not just another surgery. The doctors have relayed how serious of a situation this is and i wish i could relay in words. This is not a surgery that can be done later, it is a surgery that has to be done now in order for Jason to live a long life with his family and must be done within the next few weeks.  We have watched Jason begin to struggle more and getting short of breath and tiring more quickly each week.  We have created this page without previously telling Jason and his family and they will know as we post it, simply because he would not want anyone to make a big deal over him or the very serious situation. Please help me help a family that is always helping others and never expecting anything in return! He will be out of work for an extended amount of time!  We love this family and anyone that knows them would feel the same attachment.
