Amelia to Jason Rheas Funeral

On November 11th, 2018, my father passed away.

Although the last couple of years were a a little bit hard for us, Jason Rhea is the man who raised me to be who I am today. He was truly the best dad for me when I was younger, and I eternally grateful.

Many would agree that his goal in life was to be a great dad. He taught me about cars, he  actually taught me how to change my own tire at age 10. He taught me how to cook, how to make anything, even cleaning fun. Every Sunday morning he would buy us donuts and chocolate milk and we would read the cartoons at the table. When my brother learned how to drive stickshift, he was extremely patient, even though I was scared for my life. He built us a swing made from a skateboard, a playhouse and a treehouse. He was the best dad we could ask for. He meant so much to us.

Currently working as an Au Pair in Germany, I am not making much money. I want to travel home from ~November 23- December 7, attend my fathers funeral service and get some closure, but flights are extremely expensive. I am asking for help from anyone who can help me. Even 5 dollars can make a difference for me.
