Help Us Get To Disney

Lillian is 5.5 years old now (don't forget the "and a half"!!) and she has gotten really into the whole "Disney" thing lately. Her life hasn't been the easiest, she was born with a rare form of cancer (infantile myofibromatosis), and has had a pretty rough go of things, from doctors appointments, surgery, being physically limited in what she can do, and now that she's older having other kids notice that she's different and point it out. She is one of the most amazing kids in the entire world (of course I'm not biased at all...), and I'd love to make this happen for her. Some friends of ours are going to Orlando this spring (April 15-22) and have invited us to go with them, we gleefully accepted and started looking at tickets for Disney. Unfortunately, we don't really have an extra $1200 lying around, so while we're saving what we can, we're concerned that we won't be able to make this happen on our own. This isn't a medical emergency, and I'm sure there are lots of other people who really need help more than us, but I'm swallowing my pride, and I'm asking you, a perfect stranger to help me get my amazing, caring, compassionate, deserving little girl to a magical place where she doesn't have to worry about being different, even if only for a few days. If you can't, I TOTALLY understand, trust me! If you can, I thank you from the bottoms of our hearts!!
