School Bags For Children Refugees.

My name is Gail Davis and I and a few friends have decided to help the children refugees at Dunkirk and I am asking for your help. I don't need to tell you the story, we've all seen the news and know the torment of war and how the children have to live in the refugee camp's, and when you see them you probably feel like I do, helpless. So let's do something. Dunkirk children's centre provides valuable play-based learning and a place for creative expression and a chance, just to be a child. The children have very little outside of the children's centre and I would like to give each of them a schoolbag filled with colouring pad, pens, crayons, chalk, maybe even a pair of gloves and a warm scarf. I am trying to raise funds to get me to Dunkirk from Newbury Berkshire, in a van with 100 filled school bags, collected by myself and donations, with a huge chalk board and chalks that is very much needed for the children's centre. Any donations made will fund the above and if we manage to raise enough and still have money spare, the extra will be given to The Dunkirk Children's Centre. I will be leaving with two others on April 3rd 2017 and I am really looking forward to meeting the children and giving some fun filled art, dance and yoga classes.
