USA WJAA Nations Cup in England
The Women Junior All-American Rugby Team is the first opportunity many young women have to play international rugby. Aged 17-20, the girls strive to succeed in college, make a difference to the world and inspire others. The program demands leadership on and off the pitch, teaching players confidence and responsibility, and allowing them to practice clear communication with peers and adults. During their involvement with the program, players also set the foundation for a lifetime of health and wellness.
In addition to the rigors of training and the difficulties of coordinating such a varied and spread-out team, the biggest challenge that the WJAA program faces is finding enough funding. Many of the deserving young women need your moral and financial support in this journey: the player fee for this program is more than $1,900 per person - with a full-time summer job and training for 1-3 hours per day, players can find it difficult to make ends meet. Your donation, large or small, will make a positive impact on the experience and success of these young women.
Join your teammates, neighbors and friends who have already donated to the WJAA in the satisfaction of knowing that your support will help these young women create a promising future.
