Mister Tyson's Last Chance

Mr. Tyson is a lovable teddy bear red nose pitbull. He was adopted as an adult seven years ago by his mommy. Mr. Tyson was diagnosed with splenic massive tumor the size of a basketball. The mass had recently burst and started bleeding after he chased a squirrel up the tree and took a fall. When we rushed him to the hospital that day the vets were giving him the death sentence and suggested that I put him down right there and then. When I decided to take him home to say goodbye to his friends and family, he miraculously recovered overnight and I pursued to seek surgical options. I was given quotes from $7000-$10,000 which includes recovery and extra blood transfusion. After meeting wonderful people at Salty dog paddle nonprofit organization I was referred to another clinic that gave me a much more cost-effective option of $1800. Yesterday he had his ultrasound results which came back very optimistic because the tumor is not attached to any other vital organ except the spleen and there are no other tumors and his previous x-rays came back with clear lungs therefore we're hoping it is not cancerous. As of right now the clinic is giving me a 50/50 chance of survival on the operational table due to potential massive bleed, since they do not have the capacity of blood transfusion. I really want to give the best chances to my baby and that would be finding a clinic that provides blood transfusion. So far I only found one that is able to handle this size of the surgery and the cost is $5500. I'm not giving up and continue to look for a more affordable clinic. However the time is of the essence due to the size of this mass and the unpredictability of the next potentially deadly rupture and bleed. We will continue to try to raise at least $4500 however if the mass ruptures before then would have to take our chances with the clinic without blood transfusion.
