Tornado Recovery in Biloxi, MS
Donation protected
On Saturday April 14, 2018 a tornado touched down in the small St. Martin community near Biloxi, MS causing hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of damage in a matter of seconds. Many, including myself, lost our cars and trucks when the storm tossed vehicles around the parking lot like an angry toddler with Hot Wheels. Ten vehicles were totaled in all.
Some of us also lost our businesses. My work truck was mangled, almost beyond recognition. The Vape Spot, 3 Alarm Comics, & Liquor Now were severely damaged. Diz-n-Dat Resale was almost completely destroyed and will take up to 8 months to be repaired.
All-in-all 13 local family-owned businesses and more than a dozen vehicles were damaged by this storm. We are asking for $30,000 which will be distributed among several affected individuals to help pay for insurance deductibles and vehicle repair and replacement.
In short, all funds will be used to offset financial damages caused by this tornado. Thank you for reading.
