PLEASE HELP K.C.'S FAMILY GET TO THE TRIAL OF THE MAN ACCUSED OF HIS MURDER.
After almost four years, those accused of our son's murder are being brought to trial. Please help us get to that trial. All of our savings have been depleted by everything involved in the search for truth, finding my son's body (yet to be found) bringing his belongings home and fighting the defamation lawsuit brought against me by those accused of his murder. Though this trial adds more pain and tears to the already unbearable burden of the loss of our family member, the desperate search for answers and for my son, the fear for our lives during our quest, the revelation of the horror of what had happened to my son and more- my family and I feel that we must be at trial-to stand up and face the people responsible for K.C.'s death, to see justice served, to address the court. K.C. was a beautiful human being, with an amazing sense of humor and a tremendous strength and courage. He always brightened up your day with his smile and laughter. He loved to make people happy and to make them laugh. The lives of his family and friends will forever be tainted by the sorrow of his loss and the horror of how we lost him. We need to be at trial in K.C.'s honor. The trial is being held at a court that is four hours away from home and will take us over a snowy pass. We are in need of funds for gas, food, snow tires. We will have to travel several times, for only portions of the trial, as we cannot be away from home for the full month or so that will be the length of the trial. We need help, please.
