On January 15th, my father was suddenly and unexpectedly taken from this world. My mother, brother, and myself were completely blindsided. This man supported us and risked his life to make sure our family was taken care of. He was such a hard worker and dedicated father, even to children that weren't his. He loved all of us, Mikey, Gino, Myself.
For the man who put his neck on the line to feed his family, we want to give him a proper goodbye. One that he deserves more than anything in this world. One that we are struggling to afford in this tough winter. For all of the years you worked restlessly for weeks on end in the middle of the ocean. Or when you'd drive for days cross-country just to put food on the table. Your support growing up meant everything to me, and our family.
Thank you for being my superhero. Thank you for having my back when a little girl needed her father. Thank you for being my muscle when I needed a bodyguard. I will never forget everything you taught me, and did for me as a kid. We will all love you forever and always. Sweet dreams, dad.
