Homes with Heart

Do you know anyone that is struggling with trying to find a safe and comfortable home for their family?  Hello!  We are AR Avid Homes, and my sister and I were put on this earth to help our community be a better place.   With your help, we can:

·         help the single father find a  comfortable, and warm home for his four children

·         help a single mother find a safe environment for her two infants and toddler

·         we can assist the teenager with a minimum wage job find his first “home.”

·          show people how to become financially responsible throughout our process of the leasing, “rent-to-own” program that we have initiated. 

My name is Robert, my sister Arcelia and I have been renovating homes for 3 years, and realized this endeavor is not for the weak or broke!  We started this business for one reason (to make extra income), but have continued in the real estate industry because of the people.  We turn dilapidated homes in the community into safe and comfortable living spaces for disadvantaged individuals.

We want to improve the lives of others while enhancing the local community through real estate.  We help individuals and families find a safe and comfortable living space in Fresno county and surrounding areas.  We do this by purchasing run-down properties within the community, renovating them over a two-month time-frame, and leasing them to individuals. No one else does this with such heart!  We want to help those that are going through struggles right now or have gone through struggles.  

Sometimes life is hard, we make poor choices, and we pay the consequences. And sometimes, life happens and we need a break!  Many good people have difficulty becoming homeowners due to a whole host of issues such as high job turnover, new to the job market, family medical issues, poor credit, etc.  So many of our clients are products of poor credit scores while others are extremely responsible but have a new job, no credit history, single parents, etc.  We continue working hard at AR Avid Homes to bring safe and comfortable housing to the market. 

We are asking for $50,000 to fund this project, and expect to distribute the funds between new renovation tools and future property purchases.  New tools are needed desperately to ensure quick turnarounds on property improvements.  Once we have purchased the home, the planning goes into effect immediately. We do most of the work ourselves except for electrical and plumbing, to give our buyers a fair and competitive price.  New tools will allow us to help more disadvantaged individuals while improving distressed neighborhoods simultaneously. 

Many individuals cannot qualify for a conventional loan.  We work with people who want to be homeowners but have trouble getting conventional loans. We offer lease option sells that enable our tenant to live in the property while they work on repairing their credit or work situation.  We allow them to lease for one-two years while paying a portion of their selling price.  It’s a win-win.
