Help For The Loss of Michael Winters

This page has been set up to help counter the costs of the accidental self inflicted injury of Michael Winters which led to his death. Michael was a loving father of three children: Colton, Katie, and Karlie Winters. He also was a step-father of his wife Kila's three children: Christian, Zachary, and Preston Anderson. As a son, Michael leaves behind his mother, Debbie Crites, and father, Mike Winters. His brothers Lonnie Brown and Todd Winters are also left to mourn his passing. Michael loved life and brought joy to all those he came in contact with. He was an avid fisherman and full time cowboy. He loved his family with great passion and defined the role of a provider. He put 100% effort into everything that he did and those closest to him embraced his desire to achieve. Those who came into contact with Michael in his final few months may have noticed his increasing physical appearance. This increase was a result of anabolic steroid use. Two weeks prior to his death, he finished his final cycle of steroids. This imbalance of chemicals in his mind and body resulted in a mental breakdown that took his life. Michael lived a very happy life and his time on this earth was cut short due to substance abuse. His family is left to mourn with questions that will most likely never be answered and feelings that will last a lifetime. We ask for any donations to help his family during these stressful times to cover funeral costs and other expenses. We would like to raise awareness for all substance abuse, but anabolic steroids in particular. It is our mission to help prevent any future tragedies before they occur and save the lives of struggling individuals. Michael loved his appearance and the results that the steroids helped him achieve. We would like to stress the fact that physical appearance is only a fraction of life's importance and vanity should never supersede one's physical or mental well-being.
