Jose Morales

This is an urgent request to raise funds for Jose Morales who was diagnosed with Stage IV Neuroendocrine Carcinoma in December 2007.   At this time it was discovered the tumor was too large and emergency nephrectomy was scheduled immediately when his right kidney had to be removed.  Since then, Jose had to be exposed to non-stop chemotherapy and radiation all of which failed.  Throughout the years he has had to go through many excruciatingly painful liver drainage procedures.  He has endured all the pain with utmost grace and tolerance.    It's been a little more than a month now that even this humble, modest man with an incredibly high tolerance for pain is now hardly able to continue as it has become so unbearable.  The doctors gave them the worst news anybody would ever want to hear.  His loving wife, Ms. Cathy, as she's known to all the colleagues and students at Sherman Oaks CES, recently discovered the cancer has metastecized.  The cancer has now spread throughout his body from his head to his hips , around his heart, in his lungs, and on the liver.  No human being can take so much pain.   Certain days he struggles to simply stay conscious through it and maintain the will to fight.  We are asking for donations for an FDA approved life saving procedure called Luathera.  He is scheduled for 4 shots each costing approximately $150,000.   Even with insurance the family doesn't know if the residual will bankrupt them or not.  This drug comes with its own set of dangerous side effects and is not a cure all but Jose and Jose and their loving, supportive families are willing to fight with all their might.     They have  incurred an inordinate amount of medical expenses and any contribution you can make would go a long way to help with current and future costs of care and treatment.
