Jennifer Vinson Fund

October 31st my sister, Jennifer Vinson suffered a rare and severe stroke in the spinal cord. Within 24 hours, this beautiful, vivacious 43 year old woman became completely paralyzed from the neck down. She lost the ability to speak, eat or even breath on her own. With many answered prayers, she has been able to regain her speech and independent breathing. Although very weak, she has regained some movement in her lower body. Jenny's goal is to once again paint and color her beautiful artwork as well as be able to pet her cats which she loves. She has just recently moved from a 5 week stay at Brooks Rehab to Consulate Health Care nursing center due to limitations of insurance. Although insurance has been helping with the medical bills it does very little outside of paying the hospitals. The insurance will pay for a wheelchair (when she is ready) and that is about all. The purpose of our “GoFundMe” is to help with some of the extra costs outside of medical bills. She is currently on short term disability which is a percentage of what she made while she was working full time, but the same bills continue to come in. There will now be additional costs associated with this new type of lifestyle, such as making one of our vehicles, wheelchair friendly and future living and rehab facilities. These extra costs are extremely expensive and with limited income it is not achievable without the help of others. Anyone who knows Jenny and our family understands that we are not ones to ask for financial help in any way. This time, circumstances have given us no other option. Every dime counts towards Jenny's new take on life. We appreciate any and all help that is given to Jenny. Please continue to pray for Jenny and show support in any way you can.
