This is a campaign to help raise funds for Donna Kay Nordquist.
DK has been fighting cancer for over a year now and has been off work the entire time on a reduced wage. DK was doing OK after the first round of treatments for her Cancer and was actually working on a return to work program when she found out that the Cancer had returned and she was going to need additional treatments for a new form of Cancer.
To make things more complicated, she was renting out her property to try and reduce the costs of living as she fought this terrible disease and the impact the fight was having on her savings. That ended a few months ago and she's had to bear the burden of not one but two households which is a lot for her and Kevin to deal with.
The cancer has progressed to the point where returning to work won't be possible. Our group of friends have been brainstorming ways to try and remove some of the pressure off of the two of them and thought this was the perfect avenue to ask for some help. Our group of friends are all making private donations but thought it would be great to give everyone who loves DK the opportunity to help out if they wanted to. Every little bit will go to benefit one of the greatest ladies we know!
Due to the situation anything that can be given is appreciated and its needed ASAP to help cover off some household things as well as some bills that continue to pile up.
If you know DK personally than you know she would give the shirt off her back for family and friends. Here's an opportunity for all of us to show her that she means that much to us as well. She's put so much love out into the world it would be great to see some of it retained! Please do what you can as every little bit will help this wonderful lady breathe a little easier as she continues her fight with Cancer!

All funds will be withdrawn and presented directly to Donna Kay and the family in order to simplify things while they are dealing with the hospital stay.
