Mission Trip in South America
Logan LeBlanc SCHRIEVER, LA
This year I found out about a great opportunity to work with children in Guyana, South America. It most likely be my last chance to do mission work for a while, so I am REALLY excited about going. I'll be staying with a missionary order, the Servants of Our Lord and Our Lady of Matara, and teaching children there every day for over a month. Fortunately, I am being housed for free!! I only need to fundraise enough money to purchase a plane ticket and pay for vaccinations. Any small contribution you would be able to make would be so very appreciated! I'm very grateful for prayers also! :) Peace be with you and God Bless!+ Read More
Hey you guys! Thank you all so much for all of the help!! Awesome news- I recently got an email from the college of science at LSU, and they decided to give me an unexpected $1000 scholarship for next semester- so when that's combined with online donations and outside money from friends and family, I've reached my goal for funding the trip! And I even have enough money to pay for a hotel room for my overnight layover in Miami instead of sleeping on the floor in baggage claim:) So everything worked out very well, praise God! And thank you all so much for all of the help, support, and prayers. I will be praying for all of you during my time in Guyana, and I can't wait to see you when I return. Peace and Love of Christ! -Logan
