Father's Hit And Run Recovery

Friends & family, I need your help.My dad was involved in a hit and run last night. He was sitting at a red light on 12th street and Washington at around 7:30pm when a large black truck rear ended him, smashing him into a truck in front of him. The truck didn't even have its headlights on so my dad didn't even see it coming. He was trapped in his car while that coward just left him there, not knowing if he/she just killed the person in that car. Some amazing people broke the door off the car and were able to pull him out. One man stayed with him the whole time, gave the police all the information he could of what he saw. Without him staying there and without the information he had, our changes of finding the suspect would have been low. But thanks to him, we just might find the person who did this. If anyone knows who this person might be, please let me know. My dad would like to meet him. He will be missing work for a while because of the injuries. He's car is done, it doesn't even look like a car anymore. He is an electrician and had some very expensive tools in the car that were destroyed. He thought he had full coverage but only has liability so he will not be reimbursed for anything. In September of this year he sunk all of his savings and everything he had into a treatment that would save him from a deadly disease. He has nothing left but a few personal belongings and a room. My goal is to try to get enough money together to help him with a new car and medical bills.He is the best person and if I could give him the world and make this better, I would. Anything would help tremendously. Even if you can just share this with your friends and family. My father is a wonderful person. Everyone he meets just loves being around him. He's incredibly kind and generous and does everything he can to make the people around him happy. He has such a big heart and is always willing to give his time, energy and resources to anyone who needs him. He has been put through more this year than anyone should ever have to go through. All I can do is thank every god that my dad is alive. And I will try to get to a point that I can forgive the person responsible for this.I truly thank all who have taken the time to read this. ❤️
