Memorial Fund For Gabby Ellis

Gabby Ellis. To know her was to love her. She was the most responsible 12 year old we've ever met. She was the kind of girl you trusted to watch your little ones. She was the kind of girl you let take care of your fur babies when you went out of town. She was also the kind of girl who tried to give you back half of what you paid her because she thought it was too much. She had a heart of gold and a beautiful smile. She was the best big sister a little brother could ask for and the heart of the Ellis family.
The loss of Gabby is truly unfathomable. It's so heartbreaking, especially if you were lucky enough to have known her. And if you are a parent yourself, you feel it even more. You have to wonder, how do parents who lose a child move on? And the truth is, you don't. You keep going, but you don't move on. In addition to losing their beloved Gabby, they also lost her grandmother Lois (Todd's mother) in this tragedy.
And so I urge all of you to consider donating to Gabby's family to help take the financial burden of this tragedy off their shoulders.
