WATER PROTECTORS EXTREME WINTER GEAR

Donation protected
URGENT! Help deliver proper extreme winter weather gear to STANDING ROCK WATER PROTECTORS. On December 5th, these water protectors and 3 members of One Tribe Movement will return to Standing Rock to deliver extreme arctic winter weather gear to fellow water protecters and front line peaceful warriors who will brave the winter in dedicated efforts to protect the water. This is the first phase of a larger effort to bring $50K of EXTREME WINTER WEATHER GEAR to Standing Rock in December. Many people in Standing Rock still do not have proper extreme winter weather gear, and the winter has officially arrived. With temperatures of 14 degrees and dropping daily, snow storms, blizzards and extreme weather has added to the pressure that campers at OCETI SAKOWIN and SACRED STONE already face. Having the necessary extreme winter weather gear at this moment can be the saving grace and protect our warriors from the extreme effects of this type of winter weather condition. After consulting with our extreme winter weather survivalist, who has served in the military, we have compiled a list of necessary items that can protect our people from frostbite, hypothermia, and death from cold weather exposure. Extreme winter gear is critically different than normal cold weather gear, and can be the difference between life and death in the event of exposure to subzero temperatures. The list of items that we will be donating includes: subzero sleeping bags, subzero parkas, subzero snow boots, snow bibs, wool socks, mittens, specialized subzero under garments, propane tanks, wood, car batteries, and flip phones that can be used as back up in case of emergency. This weather is no joke, and this is one of the ways that our community can immediately contribute to the protection of the brave people fighting on the front lines to protect our water, our precious Earth, and indigenous and human rights. On December 5th, this caravan will depart from California, stopping in Los Angeles, and Boulder CO to pick up contributions from the communities Who have set aside extreme cold weather donations. We will arrive in Standing Rock, ND on December 8, where 3 of our group will face court cases for water protection efforts. We will directly distribute all donations to our friends and relatives at OCETI SAKOWIN and SACRED STONE CAMP. If you have some of these items and would like to contribute in this way, please message us immediately so we can arrange pick up. WOPILA TANKA, THANK YOU, for your support and solidarity.
