Clark Family Find A Home Fund

Donation protected

Back towards the end of September our landlord of almost 8 years fell ill and his brother took over the property. After a few promises of things being business as usual and making repairs to the abode we shook hands and went on our way, cut to the fist week of October and two days after taking our rent for the next month we get served with a vacate notice. At any rate that's neither here nor there. What's important is this, we are now homeless and living in a van. Maybe not down by a river, but I have thought about it to complete the joke. We are a family of 6 with a single income living in a Ford e150 van for shelter and relying on the kindness of friends for showers and laundry. It's pretty evident that it can get cramped in there but we do what we can. We're on housing waiting lists for days and the number of times we've been told 'no' is getting exhausting. Which brings me to this, the end goal is to get us out of the winter that's coming. At the moment we're looking for a mobile home or trailer. Something to let us have more space than a converted van. Any and all donations are appreciated and welcome and will be a great help to add to what little we are able to save up ourselves. I will say this though, my kids well being comes first, if I see a chance to cash out a bit of the fund to get us a motel room and a proper nights rest, I more than likely will. That being said the goal is a place to call home, even if it's temporary. Thank you all for your time and thoughts. May good times follow you.
