Last year, May 1st we managed to raise nearly £2500 for Great Ormond Street Hospital after finding out Darcie would be born with a birth defect - Gastroschisis.
Now that our bundle of joy is here & she made it through one hell of a fight, nearly 8 months later, 7 operations, a total of 16 weeks in hospital and surgeons finding another defect - Colonic Atresia! We are planning to do it all over again and raise even MORE money, but this time for The Sick Children's Trust.
The Sick Children's Trust are solely based on charity funding.
We cannot thank Guildford Street House enough for putting us up when we needed to be together the most. 10 weeks seemed like a life time, but being able to be together every day made it that little bit easier, therefore we are itching to give back to the wonderful charity & Tina (the house manager) who helped us through the whole experience, not only by giving us a place to lay our heads after another draining and emotional 24 hours, day after day, but for being there and listening when we needed to rant, for being there when we needed someone to lift our spirits.
So, Sunday April 16th @ 1pm Braintree Leisure Centre there will be a football match, just like last year please contact Lewis Musto to be a part of this £4 to play per person.
4pm onwards Tomo's Tavern. BBQ & DJ. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves last time and we hope for exactly the same this time, with our miracle there too enjoy it too
