The Ultimate Place of Refuge

I am Chris Crossan, an English teacher and former humanitarian aid worker in the Middle East. I remember the war-torn faces of Kurdish families who had fled Saddam Hussein in 1991, and how grateful they were for my help and friendship. This summer (from 07/24 - 08/06) I will be visiting with refugees from the Middle East, Central Asia, and North Africa, who are waiting to find their new home somewhere in Europe. I want to hear their stories, to drink their tea, and to tell them my story. I too have experienced loss of home and loss of limb; I've heard the gunfire and explosions. I want to introduce them to the great shepherd who watched over my life, and who will care for them for the rest of eternity.
     I am raising funds to cover my flights costs of $1,924. If you would like to contribute towards this before May 31, that would be of great help to this project. I will write up a report of what happens by mid-August.
