Clean Water Project in Dumay, Haiti

Donation protected
The Tallahassee Sunset Rotary Club recently applied for and received a small grant from the Rotary Foundation to bring clean water to the village of Dumay, Haiti. Dumay is home to 300 immediate residents, with the current (contaminated) water source serving approximately 10,000 residents of nearby villages. The result of not having access to clean drinking water has caused widespread disease resulting in the inability for those affected to work and support their families.

The grant funds already received cover the cost of the filtration system, but not much more.

We will be traveling to Haiti August 10 - 17th with a small team to install the filtration system and need your help getting there! The cost is about $1,000 for each of us.

Please contribute to our trip - even if it's just a few dollars - NO AMOUNT IS TOO SMALL!

Anyone who makes a donation will receive email updates (unless you opt out) while we are on the trip and pictures of the great work you are helping to support!

If you have any questions please contact us. Thanks in advance!
