RIVER

Poor little River was dumped at the old ferry landing covered with mange and starving. His little feet and legs are so swollen he can barely walk. His face, chest and neck are also swollen from infection from the mange. His skin is so hot it feels like its on fire. He is only 6 or 7 months old and all he has known is pain. I can only imagine the pain this poor baby is in. While giving him his bath he just melted in my arms even though the scrubbing had to be painful. I think it must be the first kindness he has known..  He will be seeing the doctor Tuesday to start his long term treatment. His recovery is going to be long and expensive. Any amount you could see fit to donate will be greatly appreciated.
