ANGEL- Blessed by Pope Francis

Donation protected
Angel was a blessing to his family born early at 34 weeks weighing only 3lbs 8oz. At only 1 week old angel had to have a tracheotomy and be placed on to a ventilator to be able to breathe. At 2 months of age he had open heart surgery also in an attempt to save his life. Angel is a fighter and made it through 8 months in the hospital and numerous surgeries before he was able to come home to his loving family.

Angel was diagnosed with Chronic Respiratory Failure, TARP Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Brain Atrophy, Pierre Robin Sequence, Chronic Kidney Disease, Undescended Testis, Intractable Epilepsy, Cortical Impairment, Cleft Palate, etc. He has a feeding tube in his stomach so he is able to eat. He also requires a machine to monitor his oxygen levels to alert us when he requires oxygen. Angel has required nursing services since the day he came home due to his complex medical needs.

Angel is now 8 years old and weighs around 60 pounds. He is a happy boy with a huge smile & personality. He attends school with a nurse when his health allows. His family is very dedicated to his care & happiness.

Angel and his family were extremely grateful that he was able to be blessed by Pope Francis on 9/26/15. This was arranged through the Make-a-Wish Foundation. Angels family is very religious and choose to meet the Pope over all other options. This was a once in a life time experience and the family is eternally grateful!

Angels mom  would like to move to a new home where there are no steps at the front door or inside. Angels mom has to carry him up and down the steps which has resulted in her requiring surgery for hernia repair. She would love to be able to move to a home which is wheelchair accessible so Angel is able to move freely inside. Right now he is limited to the first floor. There is no ramp so he has to be carried by two people down the front steps everyday. She also has to park on the street and she isn't always able to park close to the house so a home with a driveway would also be helpful.

Family & Friends of Angel are asking for your help in raising funds for a  new home for Angel. This would open up limitless opportunities for Angel & his family. Any help at all is greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance & we will keep all of you updated on Angels progress!
