Loretta Staley's Family Fund

On Thursday, November 3rd our mother Loretta Staley had a massive heart attack. She had no known heart conditions so this was completely unexpected. She was airlifted to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Shortly after arrival she began suffering severe seizures that despite three medications have yet to subside. The neurological team believe the seizures indicate severe brain damage. As most of you know this past year has been beyond difficult for our family but especially for Loretta. Her mother, Nancy, was diagnosed with a rare form of bile duct cancer in July of 2015. Mom was the primary care for her mother during her six month battle that ultimately took her life. During this time span her fathers Parkinson's became debilitating and she stepped in as primary care for him as well. In August he passed after a long fought battle. We have a strong circle of family and friends who are helping but the current and unforeseen financial needs will be beyond our means. Between missed wages, current and future medical bills, out of town travel and lodging, and expenses this is far more than the family can afford. She has no medical insurance. The gofundme campaign requires a goal amount but at this time we have only estimates based on our grandmother's medical bills.
