BRIDGE OVER TROUBLE WATERS
Calvin Wiley, our most beloved dance and fitness instructor, choreographer, mentor and visionary gives so generously of his heart and soul to create and inspire the Calvinography family.

Calvin has kept us healthy and uplifted for more than thirty years. He’s often been our “bridge over troubled waters,” without even knowing how much strength we were deriving from him, and without asking anything in return. Among his passionate following, literally the world over, we have all found and made new friends and enjoyed life-lasting benefits to our well-being. Now Calvin needs our help and now we have an opportunity to give back.

THE TROUBLED WATERS
Calvin recently discovered that his need for a total left hip replacement is urgent. As most of you know, Calvin has been teaching in pain for quite some time - always showing up and always giving his all. Luckily, Calvin's surgeon, who knows how important it is for Calvin to be up and moving - pain free - as quickly as possible, has scheduled his surgery for September 7, 2016.

What this doesn't allow for is time for Calvin to save enough money to take the necessary three months off from teaching to heal and recuperate. Fitness and dance instructors are paid solely for the hours worked, and no financial support is offered for injured employees. As he won’t be able to continue his livelihood and will incur many additional expenses over and above basic living expenses and insurance premiums, Calvin is in need of our generosity to get through this difficult time. With our help, he'll be able to heal without feeling the financial stress that too many people still face today when dealing with debilitating health issues. We know Calvin, and he'll be back better than ever ready to continue to inspire us, an industry & the world!!!
