Maxine Smith is a great friend to many and has helped many for years with her dressmaking skills and volunteering help many times when needed. Maxine has recently been diagnosed with Breast Cancer , it is now our community’s chance to give back to help out this lovely lady and her family. Throughout her treatment chemotherapy and radioactive plus surgery down the track Max will not be able to work. This beautiful ladies family will be helping out as much as they can , especially her mum who is local to the area will have Maxine stay with her when needed. Jim her husband will keep working to keep the household going as best he can , but the medical expenses , as we all know can really add up and if this is one way we can all pull together to help Max’s journey during this process more comfortable a little easier , then let’s do it . All the funds raised will go directly to Maxine , she is in for the fight of her life , her situation is urgent Max leads a simple life and never asks for much , her needs in life are simple . This money is raised purely to help with the medical expenses and small comforts she will now be needing .
