Help Kick Leukemia's Ass
Help 2.5 year old Scarlett Griffith and her family kick Leukemia's Ass. Her Mom Tami and Dad Jordan have not and will not leave her side. They will need to take at least 2-4 months off of work to be by Scarlett's side. This money will go to the Griffith family helping them with medical bills and however else they see fit. Here is their story: So long story short, it all started Friday with a sore leg. Which led the doctors to believe she had a septic hip. After the emergency surgery was done the cultures didn't show any bacteria. Which gave us a terrible feeling. After a few days of tests and waiting for samples to be sent across the country we got the answers no parents ever want to get. Leukemia. We know she's a tough little princess and she will win this battle. There's no other options, we don't quit! She's getting her first dose of Chemotherapy tonight and will be continuing treatments for 2.5 years. Good news during her little surgery today and testing they found no leukemia in her spinal fluid, so that's awesome news. Best news we've probably received so far. She's been very tired the last 24-36 hours. Hopefully she will start to turn around and feel better and be more active. It's been hard to sit by her side day and night being totally helpless and watching her be so miserable. But we're staying strong and praying hard. Thanks for all the kind messages and prayers.
