Save The Beebs

Beebee, The Beebs, 13, was recently diagnosed with lymphoma, which is treatable. She will require six to twelve months of chemotherapy, with the possibility of additional after-care.  The treatments will begin at a specialist site in St. Louis within the next three weeks.

The initial estimated cost barring complications is about $2,900. Total estimated cost is over $4K as of January 15th.

Fortunately, Beebee has always been very healthy and sufferes no other maladies that would interfere with sucessful treatment and recovery. Her age is a factor but even the doctors say she could live three to four years longer.

Although she is as alert as ever, she has shown an unusual loss of weight and increased vomiting over the past few months. Most recently, she seemed to entirely lose her apetite, which prompted a vet's visit. She is what they call "ribs skinny" these days. 

I am asking only for some support in this. She has been my companion since she was six weeks old. But I want to be able to make this decision with confidence, and medical charges for animals and this kind of treatment are far more than I had ever anticipated.
