Team Deptford Police

The Police Unity Tour was started to raise awareness of Police
Officers who have died in the line of duty.   The motto of the Police 
Unity Tour is "WE RIDE FOR THOSE WHO DIED".  Each year, 
thousands of Police Officers and families of officers who have died in    
the line of duty, ride together from New Jersey to Washington D.C. 
They ride on road bicycles to the National Law Enforcement Memorial
to pay their respects to the officers in the United States who have made the ultimate sacrifice.  There are several Chapters within the Police
Unity Tour Organization in New Jersey.  There are hundreds of
Chapters in the United States as far as California. 

Team Deptford will consist of the following members who will ride with Chapter II of the Police Unity Tour:

John Gigante
Christopher Eavis
David Grogan
John Huffman
Sean Gambale
Matthew Principato

These six members of "Team Deptford" will donate every dollar to the
Police Unity Tour and do their part to help raise awareness for those
officers who have died in the line of duty.  The National Law
Enforcement Memorial Fund helps raise awareness for Officers who
died in the line of duty.  The fund also supports other projects such as
Officer Safety initiatives as well as supporting the National Law 
Enforcement Memorial.  Each officer on "Team Deptford" has a goal of
donating $2,000.00 each.

 

Each year an average of 150 Police Officers are killed in the line of duty.
Several thousands are assaulted and injured as well. 

Please help in supporting "Team Deptford" in their efforts with a
donation.  We will ride over 300 miles with thousands of other officers and survivors to reach our ultimate goal of paying respect to the names
on the wall!
