This is Spaghetti!!! He and his brother, Meatball came to the shelter a few months ago.  He had a mass removed on his leg that fortunately was benign, however it was an expensive surgery. He will also need to be on thyroid medication for the rest of his life. All donations will be used to pay his vet bills

A few months ago our sweet Speckles was found on the side of the road, emaciated. We have been nursing her back to health and she has been making lots of progress. This week she needed to have emergency surgery.  She had a near calcified "ball" of fecal matter and degraded fiber/fabric. This likely started with her eating anything to survive before we rescued her from the streets. This ball was lodged in her intestines and it kept accumulating. Her insides were lacking moisture when she was dehydrated/malnourished.  It was succesffully removed.  She is resting comfortably with one of our amazing volunteers.

Leonardo has deep polyps in his nose and pharynx that requires CT scans and invasive surgery. He loves hanging out in the sink!! Leo wants to make sure the food dishes are sparkly clean and ready for pate!

Marge
Update: Marge made it through surgery well. Marge had an entire left sided mastectomy. She has a long incision. The mass is gone and she is eating and going to the bathroom . Thank you all for your donations, thoughts, prayers and love!!
