New Eyeballs For My Bday

People have been asking what I want for my birthday. Although there are plenty of things I would love to have, there's very few things that I actually need. One of them being, glasses. Unfortunately I don't just need regular glasses. I have this thing called Irlen syndrome. Also known as scotopic eye syndrome. Long story short, my eyes see letters differently against white backgrounds (which is pretty much everything) so I have to use colored overlays to help my eyes focus. If I had the glasses, I would look like a completely idiot but, it would actually make my life look a whole lot easier. The testing and to actually get the glasses is somewhere around $800. The testing itself is $550 and the lab fees are $200 plus taxes and what not I'm assuming it will be around $800. Not too much money but also not the kind of money that I currently have.
