Quincy the Shih Tzu needs your help

is a small breed dog rescue in the Southern Ontario area.   We are 100% volunteer based and all our funds go to vetting and helping our dogs to be ready to go to their forever home.

Donations are needed for Quincy who came to Happy Tails Rescue with a number of problems.  He is a sweet little guy who is 6 yrs old and has been neglected for many years.

He came to us with extreme skin issues, untreated dry eyes, and urinating blood with stones in the urethra.   To make things worse it was found he had very low platelets and diagnosed with Thrombocytopenia which is similar to hemophilia where the blood can’t clot.  

Quincy is responding to medication and the loving care he is receiving but will need need further medical care.   Once Happy Tails Rescue takes in a dog, we do our best to get him/her back to health to go on to a forever home.  All dogs deserve it.
