Help Rori fight Lyme Disease

I have never created a Go Fund Me account before so please know how incredibly important this cause is to me.
My wonderful friend Rori Albert began losing her ability to walk about two years ago. Numerous doctor visits left her without an appropriate diagnosis and not a lot of hope. She was told she probably would never walk again, and at that same time she started losing her ability to speak. For all of us this would be devastating. For Rori, it is her life, because she is a teacher. Rori is a teacher at Balboa Magnet and absolutely loves her job. When she lost her voice she had to leave.... She is heartbroken, she is unable to do what she loves, and is struggling with the new "Rori" who has turned into a shell of herself. This amazingly happy, self assurred woman whom has an incredible wit is struggling to hold on. She could really use our help.
Rori, after much persistence and numerous doctors was finally diagnosed with Lyme disease. Most people don't realize that Lyme disease has more reported cases per year then breast cancer, and STILL....since most Lyme tests are inaccurate that total is much much higher. Lyme disease affects everyone differently. It's called "The Great Imitator" because it mimicks every disease out there. That's why it is so difficult to diagnose. I myself went 13 years being very ill only to be diagnosed with lyme at the 11year mark. I am now Lyme free and am determined to get Rori there too. This is not only a painful and debilitating disease, but it is deadly if untreated.
Unfortunately, insurance companies do not cover treatment for Lyme disease, at least treatments that work. She and her family have already lost their home due to hundreds of thousands of medical expenses. We finally have her on the right track to healing but she needs our help financially to push her through the next 6-12 months of intense treatments. Every little amount counts!!!! If we could PLEASE spread this globally, and everyone who read it donated $1....imagine how much money we could raise??!!! So please don't pass by this page without donating something whether big or little. You may think the amount is small but every dollar adds up.
If you knew Rori, you would want to do anything for her. Even through the pain and suffering she's enduring she still has an amazing sense of humor and kind heart. I love this girl so much. Please help me give her back to her husband and teenagers who love her and need her desperately.
