Relief for my beloved Haiti

Greetings! Many of you may already know my family and I, for those who don't, please allow me to properly introduce myself. My name is Gaelle , and I reside in the beautiful tropical island called Haiti.
As the entire world probably knows, Haiti was recently struck by hurricane Matthew. Fortunately for me, my area was not hit, and all is well on my side. The south was mainly impacted, as many people have died, others who lost their homes, and everything they ever possessed.
Several organizations are said to be collecting funds and supplies to donate, while some of them could be legit and honest, I personally don't feel comfortable giving my money and supplies to organizations I do not know nor trust. It has happened before where help was given and never received by the victims.
I would like to start this campaign and send it to close friends, friends of friends and family, so we can gather all the help we can possibly get and start acting immediately.
In the next months to come, famine will be at its peak, and diseases will spread, so my goal is to collect anything I can to start providing relief as soon as possible.
The money collected will be used to buy non-perishable foods, aqua tabs, baby food, hygiene products, towels, sheets, some construction materials , and other supplies. Other than monetary donations, I am also collecting clothes, baby items, and even school supplies, flashlights, cooking utensils and etc. My team and I will personally go and distribute the items.
My family and I usually come together around Christmas time and do a nice gesture for the Handicapped community in Haiti. This time, I would like to do something much bigger to provide relief and comfort to those affected. I believe this is all possible with the grace of God and with your help. #GoBeyondGiving
