MY BIRTHDAY WISH IS TO GIVE BACK.
November 8, 2016 marks my 17th birthday, but this year I’ve decided rather than traditionally requesting birthday gifts, I’m asking friends and family to help me donate shoes to those who truly need them.
Buckner Shoes for Orphan Souls is an organization I believe in and want to support. But, I need your help! I am asking for NEW shoes and socks to be given as a sign of hope to a child in desperate need. “New shoes put children on a path to: Health, Education, Hope, and Opportunity.” They could be life-changing for a child from your community or across the globe! Any size is appreciated, but what are most needed are sizes 1-5 for boys and 4-5 for girls. The steps are simple and I believe it’s worth a little extra effort to help a child in so many meaningful ways.
