Glenn Richey's Memorial Fund

Please help us to provide support to the children  of a man who was a proud and loving father. The world lost a great man with the unexpected passing of Glenn Richey on October 3rd.

If you didn’t know Glenn personally, you may not have known how strong of a man he was and all he had overcome. Glenn and his children tragically suffered the loss of a wife and mother, Diana, which occurred over two years ago. This left Glenn as the sole provider for his four children and left all four kids growing up without their mom. This was incredibly difficult as one of the children is disabled after a battle with brain cancer. This is more than most can bear. Even after enduring all of this, Glenn kept his family close and was always still there to help anyone in need. This man had a huge heart!

The weekend of October 1st Glenn’s children suffered another devastating blow when Glenn was rushed to the hospital due to a pulmonary embolism. After trying to fight to stay with his kids, Glenn unfortunately lost his battle. His children are now faced with another horrible tragedy. Glenn’s four children, Jessica who is 24, Samantha who is 20, Andrew who is 19 and is disabled due to his fight with brain cancer, and Joshua who is only 16 are left to provide for themselves with very little help and neither of their parents support or guidance.

Jessica and Samantha are trying to keep their family together, plan their father’s services with very little funds and not much life insurance to speak of as well as provide for their family's needs. This is a huge responsibility for two young women. Jessica was just getting ready to move into her own apartment to start a life on her own. All those plans have abruptly changed.

These young ladies are in need of as much help as possible to cover the cost of their father’s final expense, their disabled brother Andy’s expensive medications, take care of a mortgage to keep a roof over their family’s head, provide for day to day expenses such as groceries, utilities, gas to get both girls to and from work, educational needs for their 16 year old brother Joshua, etc.

In less than 72 hours these kid’s lives were turned upside down again. No child should have to suffer the loss of their parent as such young ages, these kids have lost both parents in a very short 2 years.

We are asking for any help you can offer as quickly as possible to assist Glenn and Diana’s children through this rough period without either of their parents.

We are also asking that you share the link to this page on any social media you may use to allow others to be as generous to Glenn’s family as he always was to those in need.
