Project Thunder - What do you do when your little boys best friend has a disease that keeps him from having a sleep over or swim all day or have to stop in the middle of tag or interrupts other countless activities because of a disease he did not ask for and there is no cure? You stand behind them when they have a solution.  Reese has Type 1 diabetes that he has been living with since 14 months old. Unlike Type 2 Diabetes he is insulin dependent, checking sugars hourly, poking himself up to 12 times a day. Reese has all the greatest technologies but they still do not stop the stays at the Hospital. The solution a Diabetic Alert Dog that with its amazing natural scent detection can alert Reese, Mom, Dad and friends before more pricks more interruptions more time away from just being a kid.
