Unexpected Time Off for Health

A single mom with an unexpected health emergency.

"Blood clots are no joke! Tuesday (Sept. 27) my right leg started swelling uncontrollably. I just figured it was my cellulitis coming back. By Wednesday evening, Malia and I were in an ambulance headed to St Agnes. I have had dozens of tests and 2 surgical procedures since then. My leg is still looking like the Michelin Man and hurts like hell! The staff says it's looking better, but on the outside it doesn't... aagh!"

I have taken it upon myself, with Mel's permission to start this campaign to raise funds for the time she is taking off of work. She is currently in the hospital, has been there for a week, and is likely going to need to stay for another week or so. It's undetermined at this time.
