Help Pete fight this cancer

Back pain sent Pete to the doctor in mid April. He tried muscle relaxants, pain pills, and chiropractors. By August, Pete could barely walk. His primary care decided to do a MRI. Well this turned everything into a tailspin. After several more visits and tests, the diagnosis was clear cell renal carcinoma with metastasis to the lung and bone(ribs,back, and temporal region).  He saw a oncologist in Wichita on September 23rd. He was given a average survival of 23-24 months.  We never thought our 40 year old brother would be facing this. As a family, we just couldn't sit back and accept this with a wife, 4 children and twins due any day.  We headed to MDAnderson on Thursday September 29th. This brought some hope. They have a clinical trial with immunotherapy that has shown some promise. The downside is Pete has to travel to Houston every 2 weeks for 2 years. Pete is motivated to do this but needs our support.

The money raised will support travel expenses, help with childcare, and healthcare expenses.
