My name is Hannah Stein and I'm a pscyhology and criminal justice double major at the University of Maryland. Next year, I will be attending Northwestern University for my master's in counseling psychology with a specialization in childhood and adolescence. I aspire to become a child abuse counselor, working with victims of sexual abuse.
I'm currently taking an English course geared towards nonprofit organizations. For my final project, I am writing a grant proposal for Our Kids, a Nashville organization that helps children and families affected by sexual abuse. In addition to the grant, I've decided to raise (hopefully) $1000 for Our Kids.
I will be raising money through the rest of the semester, aiming to reach my goal of $1000. Any donation helps. At the end of the semester, I'll be donating 100% of the money raised to Our Kids. As someone aspiring to work with children who have been abused, this organization means a lot to me and I want to help them continue to do the great work that they do.
