Johnny loses "The Mullet" for Katy

So the story starts like most love stories do.....Boy meets girl, boy falls in love with girl, girl falls in love with boy but that's where the happy story takes a sad turn. The boy has a stroke at just 30 years of age. The girl stands by her man and her positive attitude and strength gets him through his gruelling time in rehab and gets him home to her. While the boy is trying to get his life back to some kind of normal the girl, his rock, gets diagnosed with cancer. Her prognoses is not good but she is not giving up. In January this year the boy married his girl and they are fighting her battle together. Katy is the girl. One of the most positive and strongest women I have ever met. She is a kiwi which means she doesn't get any financial support from the government to help pay for her cancer treatments. Graeme, the boy, a local from Mossman is back in the workforce but the stroke has left him unable to work full time so cash is tight. Katy has recently travelled to Germany for treatment and needs to return again in just a few months, whilst treatment is expensive you simply just can't put a price on life. She has amazing people around her who have been helping whenever they can. Now I'm asking the people of Port Douglas to please help this beautiful soul. This year, when Danny my husband survived a chopper crash, I felt the love and support from the people in this amazing little town I am lucky enough to call home. Now I am asking you to help me help Katy. When I told Johnny Adams, a local builder, straight away he offered to get his beloved hair/mullet shaved off to raise money for Katy. Anyone who knows Johnny knows how much he loves his hair so this is a massive gesture. Johnny will be shaving his head this Friday 30th of September at the Crocs Presentation Night being held at the Palmer Sea Reef Golf Club. So I'm asking to please donate what you can so we can make the time they have together a little bit easier.
