Thank you so much for considering supporting my work!
As many of you know, I recently started my own business. I've been working with private clients and non-profit clients throughout the Bay Area.
I have been working closely with a private school for children who learn differently. KFS School in San Francisco provides a curriculum that incorporates movement, yoga, 1:1 support and much more for the students who attend. Over the past year, the children I know who have attended this school have improved their function and ability to participate in all of their environments.
What I love about KFS is that they really understand that kids need to MOVE and they learn best when they are allowed to learn in a way that works best for them.
KFS is a really new school, and I would love to help them purchase some sensory based equipment to help their students stay moving and receive the movement/sensory input they need throughout the school day, so that each child may achieve to his/her fullest potential!
With your help we will be able to buy:
* A self standing indoor swing
* Rocking chairs, ball chairs and other alternative seating for kids who have trouble sitting in tranditional desk chairs
* individualized oral sensory equipment (i.e. kazoos, recorders)
* A sensory table
* And maybe even a little bit more...!
Any amount that you can share with us is a huge gift to the children at KFS school! My work with them is only a few hours a week, but this equipment will help their teachers give them the opportunity to move throughout the day so that they can LEARN!
