Hello friends and customers of Nick Vacca,

As you all know Nick has been battling cancer for over 3 years now. He initially went through the traditional American Medical Association/Big Pharma route of radiation, very invasive surgery and 8 rounds of chemotherapy and in January of 2015 was declared cancer free!

Within 9 months the cancer was back with a vengeance. The next round of chemotherapy nearly killed him and did nothing to the cancer. Nick has tried the naturopath treatments for awhile which we paid out of pocket but his cancer made him weaker.  Nick went back to see his Oncology doctor who told us that his cancer is a rapid mutation cancer that will keep coming back again and again.  The only fight we can do is to go through chemotherapy treatments to slow down the growth.  With this treatments, we were optimistic because we were hoping it will allow Nick a prolonged life for at least a year, enough so he could spend a little more time with his family, friends and the people who have touched his life. And to enjoy at least oe more time, to do what he loves the most, to go hunting, fishing and camping with families and friends.  Nick would be happy with that, BUT he needs help with his medical expenses for him to get an extension of his life.  His insurance is not paying a lot of his medicines and treatments. He also will need to be placed into a nursing home that have a rehab facility which his insurance is giving a hard time approving.  He is running out of money and nearly broke due to medical expenses.

So we have put together a "gofundme" campaign in hopes to raise $20,000 and hopefully extend his life!. If you are receiving this email its because you know Nick and hopefully you want to see him stick around with us as long as possible. So please check out the link below, open your hearts and open you wallets and let's help Nick through these difficult times.

Thanks in advance for your generosity and love!! Remember to set an intention each day for Nick's good health..

Update on Nick: Despite the alertness Nick has lost a lot of weight since he was last weighed in. He has his bad days and good days. He is in his 2nd dose of 3 weeks of his chemo pills. He has some swelling on his feet so we are going to schedule a duplar test to see if there is any blot clots in his legs. He is scheduled to get some testing done in 2 weeks to see if the chemo pills are working. The positive news is that the tumors in his brain are shrinking. His PT have discharged him because she thinks there is nothing she could do that I can't do and the OT can't do. His OT is a wonderful guy who is not giving up on Nick with him getting stronger. Otherwise I am his sole caregiver. We have applied for Medicaid for home care or longterm care. We will see. We managed to get him in his wheelchair and wheel him out to the front porch on days that are sunny and clear, he enjoyed it and would love to see more of him be outdoors. He wants to try going to Muckleshoot Casino, so we applied for Access. Waiting to get an appointment for them to measure his wheelchair and weigh it with him on it. Please please help support this campaign to help pay for his medical expenses, our insurance is paying only 80% and will not pay for his transportation to and from his appointments. Sometimes we use a cabulance and sometimes we use an ambulance depending on what pain level he is in. With your support he is able to get to his appointments. Please keep this campaign circulating in the hopes to prolong Nick's life just a little bit longer for him to enjoy every moment with his family and friends. Please keep him in your prayers. Thank you ALL and God Bless You!

Update on Nick: it has been a roller coaster ride for Nick last week. He has been in crucial pain most of last week where he ended up in the ER memorial day. He was in pain until Sunday 6/4/2017. We got the pain under control where he is on level 1-5 pain level which is tolerable for him. Despite all the pain he is still in good spirits and good positive attitude. He is on his second dose of 3 weeks on the new chemo pills, so far so good...cross our fingers. Please keep this campaign going in the hopes to help with his medical expenses to prolong his life a little bit more so he can spend a little bit more with his wife, son, relatives and friends. Also keep the prayers coming. Thank you for your support, prayers and volunteers.

Update on Nick Vacca Jr: Nick is coping with the pain he is experiencing with his cancer. He had been in the ER 4 times in the last 3 weeks and there was nothing that the doctor can do but give him more pain medications. He had to cancel his Physcial Therapy and Occupational Therapy due to the pain. His doctor had prescribed him the most potent pain patch ever called Fentanyl...but sadly the pain gets intense where this pain patch is unable to numb it. We are hoping to get this stabilized soon as his body takes on the pain patch. In the meantime he still wants to fight this illness, so he is to start the 2nd dose of chemo pills (3 weeks) in the hopes that it slows the growth of his cancer cells. He is a fighter and I am proud of him. Please keep this campaign going and urge you to keep him in your prayers. Also what I need is family support for I only have a few that are supporting this campaign. I know I have a lot of families around the United States and I am in need of your support with this campaign, I am the only caregiver and I need help taking care of him. With your support, you have my back and Nick's back in times like this. Thank you!

Update on Nick: Since Nick have been home, we had ups and downs. He is on a new chemo in the form of a pill, which is great because we didn't have to go to Swedish to get his chemo infusion 2x every other week. The pictures you see is your support in this campaign helping him get stronger so he could get out and enjoy life a little bit longer. We are so ever grateful for your dobaruons and prayers. We still have a long ways to go inorder for Nick to be able to do what he want before that time comes is to go out, go fishing one more time and to enjoy the company of others especially his family. Please keep this campaign going by sharing it in the hopes he can get the home care he needs to stay for a bit longer and keep him in your prayers. Thank you
Going to enjoy the sun.
He loves the outdoors.
