Please help fix my car

I worked so hard for my jeep, but when it rains IT POURS .. My mechanic said i blew a head and it will cost me $850-$900. I work too far to take the public transportation and with all of the other bills i have paying this will put me back on other responsibilities. If you can help me I would greatly appreciate it
