African American Church Vandalism

Philippi Church of Christ in my small town of Connersville, IN was vandalized. It is a small African American congregation bond by their belief in God. They were vandalized. The town is a poor community that once thrived. The church does not even have electricity or water. Let's raise money for the hope of getting them utilities ands surveillance system. We must unite and show love back to this peaceful and loving church!

Pastor Thurman preached at the church for over 30 years and owns the property.  He still pays property taxes and has been paying the gas to keep it heated in the winter.  They have not been using the church much because lack of funds.  They have struggled with marketing to bring people in.  His daughter explained that no one knows how to use social media to bring people in.  I will personally establish a social media presence for them and hand it off to a member.  It is the wish of the community to be able to have regular service but they need help finding utilities to start.  Let's give them a boost to get through winter.  I will help them get an online presence going to boost fundraising events and to appeal to the community.
