Please Help My sister With Luke's Leg Surgery!
Luke went missing from our front yard on September 12th, 2016 around 11:30 AM, we drove around Spanaway all day before someone called and told us they saw Luke run across 176th street into the woods at Fir Lane Cemetery around 4:30pm. We tried to catch him all night and even spent the night in the cemetery trying to wait for him to come out, sometime during the night though Luke got out of the cemetery. We kept searching around the woods and in the city trying to find him before we got a call on September 14th at 7:30 am from a woman telling us she had seen Luke on 8th Ave South near Fort Lewis and the Roy Y. We hired a search and rescue dog named Fozzie and his owner Jim(from 3Retievers) who came out on Saturday the 17th and followed Luke's scent for 6 hours before they couldn't find his scent anymore. That night around 5:30 or 6 we got a call from a man saying he had seen Luke just walking on the railroad tracks between 8th Ave East and 8th Ave South. We hurried over there and sure enough there was our dog! He was very scared and still ran from us. Jim and Fozzie came out with us and told us when we see him we have to sit or lay down and pretend to eat food and that Luke should come up to us but it didn't work. The next day we spotted him again but he still ran. On Tuesday the 13th Amanda from Lost and Found Pets of WA State came out and tracked Luke's poop for 6 miles, and told us that he was just walking in a big circle out in the woods m. We spent literally everyday from sunrise till sundown looking for Lucas and after Sunday when we saw him we didn't see him again and the calls stopped coming in and we started to lose hope. On Thursday September 22nd, ten days after Luke had gone missing we spent the day walking the trails and looking for him, finally when it got dark we went home. Around 9:00 we got a call and they had found Luke! We rushed over to pick him up and unfortunately he had gotten hit by a car. We rushed him to the vet and they gave him pain meds and did X-Rays on him and luckily he only had a broken leg and wasn't paralyzed. However his leg was broken so bad that they have to do surgery and can't just put him in a cast. The surgery is going to cost us $4,000. We are obviously going to make sure he gets the surgery but are hoping that some people could help us in anyway possible. We love Luke so so we've walked 65 miles in the span of three days, we had BBQs in the woods trying to lure him out, we spent the night in a cemetery and when they told us to leave we snuck back in just to make sure he wasn't there anymore, we plastered posters on every street in the areas he was seen, posted on every facebook page we could find, and called every vet and shelter in the area. We love him and missed him so much that we're just happy to have him alive. Luke is not just a pet he is our baby. We just need some help with his vet bills and anything will help, thank you so much!

He cant have surgery for 24 to 48 hours due to low fluid levels and the low end could be 4,000 and most likely cost even more.
