Treasure Valley School Meal Fund

As many of you know there is a growing issue not only in the Treasure Valley but nationwide involving kids being not only turned down a school lunch meal due to no money on their account but also sadly enough there are children who have had their lunches taken from them and thrown in the trash by school officails because of that lack of credit on their lunch accounts. Now the school districts claim they are handeling it but if even one child is denied a meal or has a meal taken from them then the system is not working! After hearing of so many of these incidents I decided that its time to do something about it to ensure that no student ever goes hungry because for many kids the school lunch is one of the few meals that child may recieve in a day as many familys struggle to provide right here in our own community! All of the money donated in this fund will be spread out to Ada county school lunch accounts to ensure that no child goes hungry ever again in our schools or is "lunch shamed" for their lack of financial resources! Every little bit helps so lets make sure that no student goes without again!
