Tuesday September 20th, 2016 was a typical day for 5 year Temo, until he felt an excruciating pain in his neck. Temo left his new kindergarten class in tears asking for his mommy to fix him because it hurt so bad. Temo was rushed to the hospital, where it was determined he needed to be transferred to Texas Children Hospital in the Medical center of Houston. Multiple tests were run and then the family was notified that Temo needed to be moved to the Oncology floor. He had a very low blood count and needed a blood transfusion immediately. He was then taken into surgery to undergo a biopsy of his bone marrow.
Temo has been diagnosed with Leukemia and is facing an extensive treatment while inpatient in the hospital. The doctors are stating at this time he will be staying in the hospital for treatment and he is looking at multiple months to fight this terrible obstacle. Temo has a long road to recovery ahead of him, but he is going in fighting like the ninja warrior he is.
El martes 20 de septiembre de 2016 fue un día típico de Temo de 5 años, hasta que sintió un dolor insoportable en su cuello. Temo dejó a su nueva clase de kindergarten en lágrimas pidiendo a su mamá que le ayudara porque le dolía tanto. Temo fue llevado al hospital, donde se determinó que necesitaba ser trasladado al Texas Children Hospital en el Centro Médico de Houston. Se realizaron múltiples pruebas y luego se notificó a la familia que Temo necesitaba ser trasladado al piso de Oncología. Tenía un recuento sanguíneo muy bajo y necesitaba una transfusión de sangre inmediatamente. Luego fue llevado a cirugía para someterse a una n de su médula ósea.
Temo ha sido diagnosticado con leucemia y se enfrenta a un tratamiento extenso mientras esta hospitalizado. Temo tiene un largo camino a la recuperación por delante de él, pero él va a luchar como el guerrero
